Where to eat in Frankenmuth
Frankenmuth is famous for its family-style chicken dinners, but Main Street also has a brewpub, pubs, wine bars, sweet shops and good coffee. Here's who serves what, sorted by craving. We list places by what they serve, not by rank.
The chicken dinners
Bavarian Inn Restaurant
Family-style chicken dinners and German dishes, under the Glockenspiel tower. Groups can book a pretzel-rolling session.
Zehnder's of Frankenmuth
Family-style chicken dinners across the street. Frankenmuth's first restaurant meals were served on this spot, at the Exchange Hotel, in 1856. Zehnder's Marketplace & Bakery downstairs sells bread, pastries and seasonings.
Brewpubs, pubs and wine bars

Cass River Bar & Grill
A bar and grill with German beers, big screens and outdoor seating.
Pubs and wine bars
Frank's Muth, T.Dub's Pizzeria & Pub, Tiffany's and Prost Wine Bar & Charcuterie are all on the Bar Crawl route, with addresses.
Cheese, fudge and sausage
Frankenmuth Cheese Haus

Frankenmuth Fudge Kitchen
